A male who had been shot in the leg was found at the Roxbury Motel by responding officers around 8:55 p.m. on Oct. 18, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said.
The victim was taken to a medical center with severe but not life-threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene soon after the incident, Carroll said alongside local members of law enforcement.
Members of the Roxbury Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office – Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office are participating in this investigation.
